It’s awesome to see plenty of locals interested in data! On the 5th April Aware Group hosted an Intro to #PowerBI training session which including running through Microsoft’s Dashboard in a day. We had members from the Waikato Regional Council, Hamilton City Council, TalkingTech as well as both Waikato Institute of Technology and University of Waikato.
At the end of the day, all of attendees were able to better understand how to:
- Connect to, import, and transform data from a variety of sources
- Define business rules and KPIs
- Explore your data with powerful visualization tools
- Build stunning reports
- Share their dashboards with people or the world
