Windows 11, the first major update to the Windows operating system in over six years, was officially released to the public on October 5, 2021. We’re very proud to say that we are playing a part in the rollout of this long-awaited release!
Microsoft simplified the user experience to put productivity, creativity, and ease at the forefront of their brand promise. Built for hybrid work, optimised performance, and easy adoption, Windows 11 is the perfect operating system for businesses. We were asked by Microsoft’s Commercial Marketing team in Redmond, Washington to help them demonstrate that, by building demo content so that they can easily showcase how to deploy and manage the operating system to commercial customers across the globe, both in-person and virtually.
We are currently creating the environment where live demos can be setup and run, along with all the documentation needed to support them. We’re also producing a complete set of resources for fully offline demos, which includes Word documents and PowerPoints that simulate a complete end-to-end install of the OS.
We’re making it easy for Microsoft employees to learn how to deliver the demos, by designing and developing the demonstration and training material that is used to teach sellers how to show off the new update. And when creating the demos, we’re doing our best to support the narrative that the Windows team wants to communicate about the benefits of Windows 11 for their customers. Our goal is to do everything we can to make it easier for Microsoft sellers to demonstrate the new features of Windows 11.
Almost all of the update’s new features were introduced with the purpose of making Windows more powerful for employees while retaining the simplicity that is core to the operating system. These include the ability to organise open apps and save multiple different desktop layouts, improved collaboration through Microsoft Teams with it integrated into the taskbar, a much easier system for sharing documents with others, better multi-monitor functionality, and a modernised design with a refreshed Start, Taskbar, and Navigation Center. Windows 11 also comes with powerful, built-in hardware security that ensures the safety of both the device and the data it holds.
Built so that workers’ processes, apps, and tools can remain, Windows 11 makes sure to maintain a familiar Windows experience. With a seamless transition from Windows 10 to Windows 11, Microsoft ensures businesses of a simplified deployment process.
Digital transformation has accelerated rapidly over the past 18 months, and Windows 11 could not have released at a better time to address the many different ways people and businesses now interact with their PCs. The operating system is going to transform how businesses, small and large, use PCs and Windows for all different tasks, and we’re glad we get to aid Microsoft in demonstrating that.
As a long-term Microsoft Gold Partner, we’re proud to be involved in an important project like this – one of the most anticipated OS releases in a very long time!
